Fitness Instructor Level 1

If you’re a regular gym user, you’ll know that it’s a vibrant, friendly and professional environment. It’s a place where people go to change their lives; to improve their overall well-being, enhance their fitness levels, change their appearance, improve their confidence, train for specific Sports or events and meet like-minded individuals. As a gym instructor, you can look forward to working in this exhilarating atmosphere everyday!

A career as a gym instructor will certainly be varied, often challenging but definitely fun. You can expect to be a supervisor, motivator and advisor all rolled into one. You’ll spend time walking the gym floor, checking that your customers are exercising effectively and encouraging those who need it! Most important of all, you will get to know your clients’ needs and design programs that will see them achieve their goals.

Qualifying as a gym instructor opens up a host of career opportunities. Furthermore, you can take the relevant modules and build towards becoming a personal trainer, fitness manager or even specialize to work with older adults, GP-referred clients and postnatal women.

What next?

Immediately after completion of the course, you can advance to Nautilus International Certification for Fitness Instructors by attending a comprehensive workshop hosted by an international Nautilus Master Instructor.
